Steven Hecht, D.C.
Dr. Hecht has been in practice for 25 years. He graduated from Western States Chiropractic College (in Portland, Oregon) in 1985, while also attending National College of Naturopathic Medicine. He was licensed in massage therapy in Oregon before obtaining his chiropractic degree. In addition to chiropractic therapies he has taken extensive range of trainings in herbal medicine, nutrition, craniosacral therapy, rehabilitative exercise, homeopathy, and low level laser therapy (LLLT).
“My training and experience allows me to help painful conditions and injuries anywhere in the body. Acute injuries and chronic conditions are both responsive to my treatment approach. I use a combination of chiropractic, physical therapy, osteopathic, and naturopathic knowledge and techniques. Treating nerves, joints, muscles, tendons, and ligaments can help problems like back and neck pain, headache, sciatica, arthritis, bursitis, and tendonitis. Pain and dysfunction in shoulders, elbows, wrists, hip, knees, ankles, and feet are things I diagnose and treat on a daily basis. It is a special interest of mine to make sure that I show you specific exercises for your particular problems that are easy to do at home. Over the long run these exercises are just as important to keeping you healthy as anything I can do for you in the office. I have received advanced training in the use of diet and nutritional supplementation to help with a variety of musculoskeletal problems and to improve other kinds of health conditions such as digestive problems, stress, fatigue, insomnia, etc.”
